Travelport adds
auto commission
A HOTEL commission recovery service for agents
is to be provided by Travelport, which owns the
Galileo and Worldspan GDS booking services.
The company has made an agreement with
commission recovery service provider Net Trans
to provide automated commission reporting and
collection processing.
Travelport claims this will increase agents’ com-
mission income while lowering operating costs.
The Net Trans platform claims to show agents
how much commission has been paid and how
much is still owed.
All commission collection and reporting will be
based on the data going through the Galileo and
Worldspan systems.
