2009 Student Travel Award Application
The Business and Economic Statistics Section (B&E) of the ASA will offer up to two travel awards (roughly $500 each) for students in doctoral programs in
business, economics, econometrics, statistics, or allied disciplines. Support is offered for students to attend the Joint Statistical Meetings—to be held in
Washington, DC, August 1–6, 2009—where applicants should be presenting either a paper or poster.
Applications must include an endorsement and letter of support from a faculty advisor or member of the B&E Section. Winners are expected to attend
