DISTRICT 5 — EASTERN OKLAHOMA Three Black Cows Stolen from Craig County, Oklahoma


Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger John Cummings reports the theft of 3 black cows from a property in Craig County. Between March 12 and 14, a thief or thieves used on-site pens to trap and load a black cow weighing approximately 1,200 pounds; a horned black cow weighing approximately 1,100 pounds; and a wild-tempered black cow weighing approximately 1,200 pounds. DISTRICT 10 — NORTH TEXAS Eight Angus Calves Missing from Gordon Area TSCRA Special Ranger Wayne Goodman reports 8


muley Angus calves missing from a property near Gordon in Palo Pinto County. Missing are an Angus bull calf weighing 600 to 700 pounds; 3 black Angus steer calves weighing 600 to 700 pounds each; and 4 Angus calves of undetermined sex weighing 600 to 700 pounds each. DISTRICT 11 — NORTH TEXAS Pair and Steer Stolen from Rosston Area TSCRA Special Ranger Troy McKinney reports the


theft of 3 cattle from a property near Rosston in Cooke County. Stolen was a black baldy cow with a 4-week-old bull calf and a black baldy steer calf weighing 300 to 400 pounds. The cow and the steer calf each have a fl ying U brand on the left hip.


Crossbred Steers Missing from Gainesville Area McKinney reports that 27 head of crossbred steers were


last seen on Feb. 17 in a pasture near Gainesville. Most of the missing steers are black, with a few white and red steers. They are branded with a G laying down S on the left hip.

Crossbred Heifers Missing from Muenster Area McKinney reports that 29 crossbred heifers have gone


missing from a property near Muenster in Cooke County. The heifers are a mix of colors and weigh from 500 to 600 pounds each. All were branded with NL on the hip and have a 3K tag in the left ear. If you have information regarding any of these cases, please call McKinney at 903-429-4011.


DISTRICT 13 — EAST TEXAS Angus-Cross Heifer Shot Near Marshall, 57 Head Set Estray


TSCRA Special Ranger Larry Hand reports the shooting of an Angus-cross heifer weighing approximately 500 pounds, between March 13 and 14, southeast of Marshall in Harrison County. DISTRICT 21 — EAST TEXAS Nine F1 Heifers Missing in Burleson County TSCRA Special Ranger Hal Dumas reports 9 head of F1-

DISTRICT 24 — GULF COAST Nine Brangus-Cross Calves Stolen from Sealy Area TSCRA Special Ranger Tommy Charbula reports the


theft of 9 calves from a property near Sealy in Austin County. Sometime after March 20, a thief or thieves cut a chain on a gate and used the property’s pens to load 9 multicolored crossbred Brangus calves weighing approximately 400 pounds each. The bull and steer calves do not have any brands or ear notches, but did have yellow ear tags bearing the ranch name and phone number.
