ATTLE RAISERS BETWEEN THE AGES of 25 and 50 are encouraged

to apply for the Young Cattle- men’s Conference (YCC). Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) supports 3 delegates to this annual education tour organized by the National Cat- tlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA). Delegates from beef industry

organizations start the 10-day tour in Colorado each June by meeting with representatives from Cattle- Fax, Safeway and JBS’s feeding and packing segments. The tour includes time at the Chicago Mer- cantile Exchange and a visit to the U.S. Capitol. YCC delegates must be nomi-

nated by one of NCBA’s affi liate members (TSCRA in this case), be an NCBA member, and must com- mit to attending the entire tour. Find more information and the

application form at www.tscra.org. Click on Young Cattle Raisers and then fi nd Young Cattlemen’s Con- ference in the drop-down menu. The deadline to apply for the 2016 YCC tour is March 1, 2016.
