MEMBER NOTES

Calendar Is Filling up for 2016 Ranch Gatherings By Curtis Younts, Association Promotion Committee chair

T

HANKS TO THE WORK OF TEXAS AND SOUTH- western Cattle Raisers Association

(TSCRA) members and our supporters, our association membership grew about 3 percent in 2015. This fi gure may seem small, but adding nearly 600 members to the TSCRA membership is a signifi cant accomplishment. Most of these new members came

through ranch gatherings and other events TSCRA hosts or attends. To all readers who joined or rejoined at one of these events in 2015, welcome home! We are putting the fi nishing touches on

our schedule of 2016 ranch gatherings this month. We hope you can join us for the events, and we welcome any non-members you can bring to an event to learn more about TSCRA and what we do for ranch- ers across the southwest. There are several large ranch gather-

ings already on the calendar. These are our large events that typically have 300 or more attendees. I would like to invite you to mark your calendars now and at- tend one of these events in 2016; enjoy a great meal, visit with fellow ranchers and even renew your membership.
