B&P Process Equipment has acquired the assets of Littleford Day, a manufacturer of mixing, drying and reacting equipment based in Florence, Kentucky, USA. Headquartered in Saginaw,

extruders, mixers and centrifuges. It says that the acquisition will strengthen its position in both batch and continuous mixing for a range of industrial applications, including plastics. “The combination of Littleford Day with our

Reconstruction and Develop- ment (EBRD) is loaning €6.2 million to help finance the construction of the plant (right). It will have a capacity of 12,000 tonnes/year and will employ up to 100 people. The facility will produce low and medium voltage electrical cables for buildings, industrial processes, power distribution, telecommunications and data transmission. Vicenza-based La Triveneta said that this was its first investment abroad in
mixing equipment for more than 50 years, developing new technologies at its Process Solutions Center. It will be renamed B&P Littleford Day and will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of B&P. ❙

RTP buys Polymer Partners
RTP Company has acquired Polymer Partners of Henderson, Kentucky, a manufacturer of black concentrates and speciality compounds. RTP said that Polymer
its 50-year history and that it chose Moldova “because of its geographical position, lower energy and labour costs”. The EBRD is the largest
institutional investor in Moldova, where it says it focuses on “driving foreign investment in partnership with innovative investors”. Previ-

Roscom puts TekTube business up for sale
US-based PVC compounder Roscom has announced that its hose and pipe manufacturing business Tektube is up for sale. It said that it will close down Tektube operations on 1 September 2105 and it is seeking potential buyers for the

business and its equipment. Located alongside Roscom
in Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA, TekTube produces a range of flexible PVC hoses and tubes for the spa, pool and beverage industries. Roscom said that the business is being sold to

create space to accommodate the rapid growth of its PVC compounding operations. The company reports
increasing demand for its custom PVC products and toll compounding services. In particular, it says that sales of
its non-phthalate flexible PVC formulations have taken off rapidly. Earlier this year, the company announced a shift to 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week production. ❙
