Background
In 1971, Max D. Peters, “the entrepreneur” assumed the risk of a business venture, starting NuAire®, Inc. in his home.
NuAire® was awarded the first contract to produce the first modern day Biological Safety Cabinet per NIH-03-112c for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.
Product Lines LabGard™ ES and CellGard™ ES Class I, II and III Biological Safety Cabinets offer maximum personnel, product and environmental protection, LabGard™ ES has a 0° Vertical Sliding Window; CellGard™ ES has a 10% Slopped Sliding Window.
AllerGard Animal Handling Products meet the diverse needs of animal research facilities, providing sterility for animals, protection for technicians.
AutoFlow CO2 Incubators are designed with the highest level of performance and dependability for optimum cell growth conditions.
Glacier -86°C Ultralow Temperature Freezers energy efficient cascade cooling system monitors temperature and pressures ensuring accuracy and reliability.
PharmaGard Pharmacy Compounding Aseptic Isolators are your Single Source Solution to assure proper preparation of compounding sterile products.
Polypropylene Laboratory Products utilizes a totally seam-welded fabrication process to withstand the exceptional demands of highly corrosive agents.
Centrifuges – NuAire has partnered with Hitachi to sell and service High Speed Refrigerated Centrifuges, Ultracentrifuges, Floor Standing Micro-Ultracentrifuges, and Table Top Micro-Ultracentrifuges in North America. The addition of Hitachi Koki Centrifuges adds to NuAire’s growing product offerings.
Facilities
NuAire® Inc. manufactures Biological Safety Cabinets, CO2 Incubators, Laminar Airflow Equipment, and Polypropylene Products at three locations in Minnesota. With over 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space, including a state-of-the-art robotic sheet
metal facility, NuAire® provides employment to 350 Minnesota families and 60 North American Sales Representatives.
NuAire® purchases materials from over 500 American vendors, all with their principle place of business in the United States. More than 60% of the raw materials, parts, and supplies for our products originate in the U.S. with an average of 20-30% of the stainless steel flats being recycled metal. Manufacturing labor is 100% American. When combined with the materials, over 75% of the products’ manufacturing costs are “Made in America”.
