METCALF SET FOR ANOTHER SHOT: Brent Metcalf is a combined 1-3 in three trips to the World Championships. He’s back for a fourth time and ready to win a medal this time at September’s World Championships in Las Vegas.
2 NIGHTS, 16 CHAMPS: Eight champions in men’s freestyle and eight champions in women’s freestyle were crowned during the U.S. World Team Trials on June 13-14 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis.
U.S. GRECO-ROMAN TRIALS: An enthusiastic packed house of more than 1,000 fans at Cornell University was treated to a great night of wrestling as the U.S. World Team Trials for Greco-Roman were staged in Ithaca, N.Y.
