20 QUESTIONS WITH... Bryce Saddoris Bryce Saddoris is one of the top Greco-Roman wrestlers in
the United States. He qualified for his second straight U.S. World Team at 66 kg/145.5 lbs. and will represent his country at September’s World Championships in Las Vegas. Saddoris, who competes for the U.S. Marines, also won the
U.S. Open and the Armed Forces events this season. He placed second at the 2014 CISM World Military Championships. A Nevada native, Saddoris was a two-time NCAA All- American for the U.S. Naval Academy. Saddoris took time out of his busy schedule to answer 20 Questions for USA Wrestler: 1. Favorite movie? Dumb and Dumber 2. Favorite TV show? Law & Order SVU 3. What do you listen to before you compete? “Sail” by Awolnation 4. Favorite food when not watching your weight? Seafood and steak 5. Favorite sport other than wrestling? Football or golf 6. Favorite athlete to watch in another sport? Peyton Manning 7. Favorite wrestler and why? Spenser Mango. He is one of the most explosive wrestlers I
know. You can expect to see him putting points on the board every match, win or lose. 8. Best piece of advice you've received? Never quit until you have heard the final buzzer because any-
thing can happen at a second’s notice. Hard work will let those seconds pay off when it counts. 9. What kind of advice would you give a young wrestler? Have fun with wrestling. It is a great sport that will teach you
important life lessons and build your character as a young man or woman. Also, don't worry about cutting weight at a young age. Concentrate on getting better technically and those skills you learn alone will take you a long way. 10. Best moment as a wrestler so far? Either winning my last match at the NCAAs as a Navy wrestler, or making my second World Team. 11. Name three people you would love to invite to dinner? My wife, Will Ferrell and Chuck Norris. 12. What is one thing you are afraid of? Spiders. I make my wife kill them in the house and check for
them under the sheets every night. 13. How did you become involved in wrestling? My dad introduced wrestling to me at a young age, plus my
mom needed me to do something more constructive rather than being destructive around the house. 14. How were you able to adjust to the Senior level? I had great coaches and practice partners who saw my poten-
tial and worked very hard with me to make the transition on the Senior level. It also ultimately came down to working hard and keeping my goals at the forefront of my mind. 15. Any idea what you will do when you stop competing? I would really like to start coaching, but if that doesn't happen I am in the process of getting my MBA so I may go into

Corporate America. 16. What is the best part about wrestling in the Armed Forces? I get to represent all the service members in uniform that are currently in harm’s way. There is no better honor to be a Marine and represent the U.S. 17. What are your goals for international wrestling? I want to be a World and Olympic champion. 18. Coolest place you've traveled to and why? Budapest, Hungary. The city was awesome to explore and the
city's mineral springs bath house/sauna was an unbelievable experience. 19. What do you like about Greco-Roman wrestling? It is a style where you have to be ready to go battle every
match. Points are harder to come by, so as a competitor you must show the referee you are outworking your opponent the entire match. 20. Funniest guy on the team and why? "Crazy man" Joe Rau. When you are around him, you can never expect what he is going to do or say.
