Bourbon trail boosts visitor numbers
BOURBON tourism is skyrocketing in Kentucky with nearly 2.5m visitors from 25 countries taking the Kentucky Bourbon Trail tour in the last five years. The newest member of the
Kentucky Bourbon Trail – Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Experience at Stitzel-Weller – is located five miles from downtown Louisville, in a property
originally opened in
1935. Presently, 18 warehouses house about 400,000 barrels of whiskey. Tours run Wednesday- Sunday between 10am and 2pm. Cost is $10 for adults over 21.

Louisville, was established in the late 1800s and is being re-opened in downtown Louisville this summer.

NO-FRILLS carrier Norwegian has started serving Orlando as its fourth transatlantic destination from Gatwick.

destination in Florida using an expanding fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Norwegian has seven of the
new generation aircraft in service and plans to add a further 10 to its fleet by 2017. It became the first low-cost carrier to offer transatlantic flights between Europe and the U.S in 2013 and now serves New York, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando from Gatwick in addition to other US routes from Scandinavia.
