QPlease can you provide a little bit of background on Huawei as a company? Many people know of it, but few, perhaps,


understand the company’s complete portfolio?

QPlease can you tell us something about Huawei’s involvement in the UK market to date?


A Since 2001, Huawei has become a key supplier to all the major telecom operators in the UK. Headquartered in Reading, Huawei


has offices in London, Manchester and Ipswich. Huawei is the main supplier for BT 21CN network access and transmission network, as well as a sole supplier to TalkTalk broadband access devices. Since 2013, Huawei has been collaborating with BT in the BDUK project to provide broadband coverage in the remote areas. In amobiler space, Huawei is the major supplier helping Vodafone and EE build their mobile networks. In September 2014, EE and Huawei jointly demonstrated 300Mbps 4G connection in London, the fastest in the world at the time.


QHuawei is looking to target the UK data centre market with its portfolio of ‘network energy’ solutions?


A Huawei provides a wide portfolio for data centre IT and energy infrastructure, including Server, Storage, Communications, and


UPS, Cooling, Modular Data Centre, Containerised Data Centre and Monitoring solutions. With its business consulting and solution design capabilities, Huawei is serving more and more customers in the world and helping them to build an edge in their business environment.


QIn general terms, what do you believe makes the Huawei portfolio different from the competition?
