HIRE SERVICE MEETS DEMAND for air-cooled water chillers
Are you facing a seasonal increase in production, relocating, prefer to try before buying or struggling to find the capital to purchase outright? Hiring a chiller could be the answer

IsoCool is offering numerous rental options across its extensive Eurochiller series of air-cooled and precision water chillers. Units can be supplied to suit a range of applications varying in size and complexity, delivering cooling capacities from 2.7 to 960 kW. There are many reasons why chiller rental options are in high demand as an intermediate solution. For instance, maybe a plant is witnessing a seasonal increase in production or perhaps relocating. Some plants simply want to try a chiller before buying while others struggle to find the capital to purchase a chiller outright. Whatever the reason, IsoCool offers a
wide selection of air-cooled chillers and high precision water chillers to suit every intermediate requirement. In addition, the company can provide cooling equipment on a loan financial arrangement, helping customers spread the cost over a certain time period. For clients that subsequently save on cooling costs thanks to the new chiller (due to increased performance and efficiency), the monthly savings can go toward the cost of the hire and/or loan. Regardless of the application, when an
existing water chiller fails or is unable to cope, a hire chiller from IsoCool can be rapidly deployed so that cooling capacity
and chilled water temperatures are restored quickly. Even when chiller failure is merely a threat it’s worth discussing rental options so that a contingency plan can be put in place to reduce any risk to the business. Built to exacting standards by
Eurochiller, the high precision water chillers available for hire feature reliable, user-friendly controls, innovative noise reduction technologies and high grade construction materials as standard. All units are built with performance and energy efficiency in mind. “For those unsure about the optimum

MULTI-PIPE CHILLERS DELIVER HOT AND CHILLED WATER SIMULTANEOUSLY Based on extensive experience in European countries, multi-pipe chillers
Trane is expanding its portfolio for the UK market with an extensive range of multi-pipe chillers that simultaneously deliver hot and chilled water. The CMAA (scroll) and RTMA (screw) multi-pipe chillers provide optimal balancing in the supply and demand of heating and cooling systems. “Many building owners and managers in climates such as in the UK need
to provide simultaneous heating and cooling in different spaces of their facilities to meet the sustainability obligations under challenging building regulations,” says equipment sales leader Michael Hamill. Trane multi-pipe chillers are particularly suitable in countries with mild
winters and in buildings where the heating system is designed for low temperature radiators or underfloor heating operating with hot water temperatures of 35-50° C. In place of a traditional chiller with an additional boiler, installing this
simplified multi-pipe system results in lower investment costs, reduced use of floor space and lower total operating costs with only one unit to maintain instead of a separate chiller and boiler. Annual energy consumption is lower than comparable conventional systems, helped by the use of renewable energy when operating in heat pump mode.
are mainly connected to airside systems. A HVAC system connecting Trane’s multi-pipe chiller to a Trane air handling unit and/or ducted fan coil units will deliver a highly flexible system ensuring optimal ventilation and conditioned air. Individual zone control can be realised, depending on the type of unit controllers selected to suit most requirements. The CMAA and RTMA multi-pipe chillers autonomously handle all
thermal loads and offer best-in-class energy efficiency. The ‘cross exchange’ technology further enhances the reliability by avoiding unit shut down caused by anti-freeze alarms. Electronically commutated (EC) fans with innovative profile deliver strong reduction in power inputs and sound emissions. The Trane multi-pipe chillers feature Dynamic Logic Control technology which is an electronic controller optimising the operation stability by managing the differential of the inlet water temperature based on the speed of its variation.
