RENEWABLE ENERGY EVENTS REQ
Recent highlights of the REA’s events programme include a successful workshop on the new CfD regime, a packed session at Solar Energy UK focusing on the latest innovations in energy storage and the Wood Heat Association’s two day conference at the Great North Museum in Newcastle. Throughout 2015 the REA will be continuing with its Renewable Energy Policy and Politics Series (REPPS).

Get up to speed on the crucial actions you must take if you are assigned a CfD, a reminder of the key deadlines and requirements, and how to avoid losing the highly sought-after CfD contract you’ve worked to secure. Project developers considering

16th July 2015 Dear Secretary of State
for Energy and Climate Change Central London As the REA continues to campaign on its Manifesto, a series of keynote presentations
will be delivered reflecting the headline ‘asks’ of each sub-sector that the document covers; from renewable heat and power to waste to energy, biogas, solar and renewable transport. A full transcription of this
event will be presented to the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change and other interested Parliamentarians.
24th November 2015 A new Government and
a new policy landscape for the UK’s renewable energy sector Central London The final conference of the series will come after UK’s new Government has been in office for over six months. It will therefore provide speakers and delegates with the political certainty to discuss the financial, and other practical challenges, of implementing a programme of action - offering policy stability - for renewable energy in the new Parliament.

to commercialise energy storage in the UK Burges Salmon, London The REA is running a FREE TO ATTEND seminar in order to boost growth in the UK’s energy storage market. This is an interactive seminar open to anyone in or interested in the energy storage space. A range of delegates - from technology developers, investors and consultants to generators, DNOs and the regulator - will be given a unique opportunity to provide their input into REA’s future work on energy storage.
