 ETIHAD AIRWAYS


ABU DHABI'S fl aghip carrier launches its fi rst A380 between London and Abu Dhabi this December. Etihad also announced that its ultra-luxury ‘Residence’ suite, which includes a Savoy- trained butler, double bedroom and en-suite shower, is sold out for its fi rst 10 fl ights – despite costing $20,000 between London and Abu Dhabi.  SINGAPORE CHANGI


A DEAL announced this October will see the expansion of Singapore Changi’s Terminal 1 and will entail the re-development of the 3.5-hectare open-air car park site fronting the current building. Named Project Jewel, the construction will be 1.4 milion square feet in size and its centrepiece will be a 40-metre- tall waterfall and a large-scale indoor garden, as well as leisure attractions, retail outlets and hotels. The project will allow for more spacious baggage claim areas, early check-in facilities and improved connections to other terminals. changiairportgroup.com
