Carnival Cruise Lines is introducing its own ‘TV show’ to help agents learn more about the brand. Carnival TV aims to train more

agents on the US cruise line’s products, according to Iain Baillie, the newly promoted managing director for UK sales. The operator will produce at least one episode a month, giving agents updates on marketing tools and sales support, as well as information about the fleet, on-board products and selling tips. Agents can watch the show

through Carnival Passport and on the line’s Facebook page. Baillie said: “Carnival TV has been developed to help agents

learn about our brand in a fun and engaging way, providing even more personalisation to them. “We’ve listened to feedback and

are launching this to complement our face-to-face training and other communication challenges. It can be watched in agents’ own workplaces at times that suit them.” He added: “Agent feedback

taught us that agents like to learn, interact and work with our brand on multi-level platforms and so we created a new way of learning that was new, engaging and fun. “We continue to train over 500

agents face-to-face every month, provide newsletters, e-learning modules and webinars – and Carnival TV will complement this.” goccl.com

Weston has previously held positions with Scuba Tours Worldwide, the Dream Lodge Group and Premier Holidays. Graham Clubb, the line’s UK head, said: “The American Queen Steamboat Company launched to the UK trade and consumer with one vessel, the largest riverboat in the world, the American Queen, and we have now added the American Empress to the fleet. “Demand has exceeded our
