London represents just over one-hundredth of a per cent of the total land mass of the UK but one-fifth of office take-up. Split by stock, it has almost double the office space of the rest of the UK. Its lead may be accelerating, with office take-up rising by a third on the five-year average, whereas the UK’s key cities rose by 5%.
