HOLLIE ON CALIFORNIA If there was one thing that really impressed Hollie Brown on the Cover Stars trip to California, it was the hotels. Her top two properties were the Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton hotel on the beachfront
at Huntington Beach, and the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa hotel in Palm Springs. The latter even included a major wow
factor – a cascading waterfall in its lobby offering gondola trips of the resort’s meandering waterways. “When you walked into the hotel, you
went down some steps to the water and little boats,” says Hollie. But it was the views that particularly caught Hollie’s attention. “Looking out at the hills
from the Marriott it was like a postcard. It was so unreal when you opened the curtains,” she recalls. At the Hilton, Hollie was equally impressed. “The hotel was literally on the beachfront and you could see the pier from the bedroom window – it was amazing.”
