Graeme McDonald is Director of SOLACE, responsible for the overall management of the organisation,


policy and communications. He joined SOLACE in 2011 after more than 15 years in local government.


Chris Painter is Emeritus Professor of Public Policy and Management at Birmingham City University, where he was Head of the


School of Social Sciences. He is also Chair of Governors at Stourbridge King Edward VI College.


Martin Ferguson is Policy Director at Socitm, the society of public sector IT managers, where he leads the


development and promotion of responses to major issues around public sector ICT and drives engagement with central and local government.
