techno-commercial due diligence work covering an investment it was planning in Breen Color Concentrates, a 40-year old producer of custom colour and additive masterbatch products based at Lambertville in the US state of New Jersey. The company (owned since 2006 by Spell Capital) has historically focused on the wire and cable markets but, in more recent years, has also targeted other extrusion and injection moulding opportu- nities. In addition to organic growth, in 2009 it bought the PVC colour business of Teknor Apex and further expanded its production and technical capabilities. “I thought AMI Consulting did an excellent job,” says
