O-PVC pipe extrusion: Complete line solutions from one single source


O-PVC (oriented PVC) is a material that offers improved end product properties through a molecular orientation process of the PVC material.


For this specialized PVC material, battenfeld- cincinnati and its Spanish partner Molecor have developed specially adapted extrusion line components for pipes with outer diam- eters from 90 up to 666 mm (DN 600):


• twinEX 28D parallel twin screw extruders with sizes of 93, 114 or 135 and outputs ranging from from 150-1,200 kg/h


twinEX 114-28, optimized for O-PVC extrusion


• spider pipe heads for gentle and homo- genous O-PVC processing


• Synchronized downstream components
