H. Kramer & Co., a Chicago area Brass and Bronze Ingotmaker, has an immediate open- ing for a maintenance manager. We expect a minimum 10 years of practical maintenance supervisory experience. The applicant must have either an electrical engineering or me- chanical engineering degree. The individual will be responsible to oversee all aspects of our plant operations including intense concentration on safety and housekeeping, preventive maintenance, and parts inventory control. He must possess extensive comput- er skills and be an excellent communicator. We seek a motivated selfstarter who will do a thorough job. The position offers excellent salary and benefi ts.

Betz Industries, a leading producer of gray iron and ductile iron castings for the automotive die and machine tool industries located in Grand Rapids, Michigan is expanding and searching for an experienced “hands on” Metallurgist. From the newly con- structed state-of-the-art melt facility, Betz Industries has the capacity to melt and pour up to 6500 tons per month utilizing 20 ton, 8 megawatt coreless furnaces. Castings are custom and semi-production runs, employing the full-mold process.
