Te Westomat® dosing and holding furnace is suitable for all casting processes where accuracy and repeatable mold fill- ing is required. Te ProDos3 and VPC proprietary control systems can achieve repeatability of ±1% of pour weight. Pour weights can vary from a few ounces to several hundred pounds into high pressure dies, permanent molds or sand casting lines. Designed to meet the needs of European mar- kets where energy costs are high; energy costs can be reduced up to 75% when compared to using a traditional open well holding furnace. Combine these features with reduced labor and maintenance costs and the payback starts immediately.
