L Seven colours - one light
ED-technology makes it possible: Patlite’s new multicolor LED-Signal light can indicate seven different status displays with 7 different colors.
One LED module, seven different colors – the new multicolor LED model NE-CL7 is extremely versatile and flexible and ideal for applications such as AVGs, conveyor lines or compact plants.
Thanks to its small size – a diameter of only 57mm and a height of 61mm – the multicolor LED is compatible with almost every application and renders disassembly for transport or packing unnecessary. The milky-white lens distributes the light evenly and at the same time provides for an especially clear color display. The signal light is prewired which ensures simple and user-friendly assembling.
With an IP rating of IP66 and IP67 and thanks to the almost edge-free housing the signal light is protected against dust and jet spray and thus can be used also in environments with high humidity, dust exposure or specific hygienic requirements.
The new multi-color LED light operates in a temperature range of -30 °C until +50 °C. The rated voltage is 12 V DC ~24 V DC, the operating voltage 10.8 DC~26.4 V DC.

atapaq introduces the TB9840D heat sink for use in heat treatment applications with a high mechanical load such as nitrogen and helium gas quenches. The new and improved heat sink complements TB4500 and TB4600 thermal barriers from Datapaq. In acuum or quench applications, it can also be used with TB4000 models. The result of innovative construction
and manufacturing approaches, the new heat sink withstands vacuum as well as gas pressure quenches up to 20 bar. Thus, it allows operators to monitor complete high-temperature processes up to 1,200°C, including heating and cooling cycles. Shortcomings of conventional heat sink designs such as ballooning or shrinkage have been removed. The new tried and tested construction with phase-change material reliably maintains a safe operating temperature below 70°C for the data logger. New high- pressure filler seals securely prevent gas leakage or permeation in vacuum furnaces. The TB9840D heat sink can be used with Datapaq’s Tpaq21 data logger which generates temperature profiling data that can be retrieved upon exiting the process. In combination with the appropriate thermal barriers from Datapaq, reliable temperature monitoring solutions for various applications can be realized.

SRK terminals now also available for large cross sections from 16 to 120 mm2
terminals are now also available for wire cross sections between 16 and 120 mm², thereby covering a total range of 0.08 to 120 mm². Up until 35 mm2, the terminals feature a double cross-connection channel for plug-in cross-connectors. Screw-on cross-connectors located on the inside are used for the larger models. The SRK range of protective earth terminals has also been extended by wire cross sections from 16 to 70 mm². Models up to 35 mm² are contacted with the rail by simply snapping those on. The terminals are equipped with a large wire entry bay that facilitates the insertion of wires. The connection of multiple wires is also possible. All SRK-type terminals have a very compact housing and feature excellent stability, vibration resistance, and improved attachment of the wires to the contact point. The terminals’ foot construction ensures a reliable, firm hold on the mounting rail. Manufactured from PA 6.6-V0, their robust housing safely anchors the metal parts on the inside.

erex Material Handling has installed two Demag overhead travelling cranes at Dril-Quip Europe’s production facility in Aberdeen. A division of the multinational operator, Dril-Quip Inc of Houston, Texas, the company designs, manufactures and services a wide variety of hardware for the oil and gas industry. Dril-Quip’s product range includes sub-sea and surface trees and tubular components, which are distributed to major oil and gas operators worldwide. The investment was driven by the need to handle increasingly large and heavy components, between manufacturing and assembly processes.

Material Handling supplied a Demag 50 t SWL, 17.6 m span ZKKW double girder overhead travelling crane and a 30 t SWL, 17.6 m span ZKKW double girder overhead travelling crane. Both cranes incorporate Demag MPW open winch wire rope lifting units, which are particularly suited to Dril-Quip’s manufacturing processes. Both cranes have variable cross and long travel speeds of 0 - 20 m/min. The 50 t SWL crane has variable hoisting speeds of 0 – 8.8 m/min for loads up 30 t and 0 – 5.5 m/min for loads above 30 t, whilst the 30 t SWL crane has variable hoisting speeds of 0 – 8.8 m/min for loads up 18 t and 0 – 5.5 m/min for loads above 18 t.
