TGM sensors from EGE help prevent overheating

Latest charge

amplifier measures over 1MN securely and reliably

H

BM’s latest PACEline CMA5000/2 piezoelectric charge amplifier has a measuring range of 5,000,000 pC making it ideal for safe and reliable measurement of large forces above 1MN although smaller forces in partial areas can also be measured rapidly and precisely. The charge amplifier ensures secure measurement acquisition with piezoelectric force transducers using signal conditioning on analog standard signals ±10V. The device is particularly useful where there is very little space available such as in test technology, assembly monitoring and function testing, or where measurement objects display high rigidity. The CMA5000/2 features two calibrated measuring ranges over 100% and 20% of the nominal (rated) force enabling users to check obtained a detailed examination of overload-critical sections

in addition to securely measuring partial

load areas. The overall measurement range can be increased without additional components such as summing boxes or measurement cables. The PACEline CMA5000/2 is fitted with two parallel-switched inputs for piezoelectric sensors providing additional flexibility and an excellent price/performance ratio.

GE’s new TGM 050-TS series of temperature sensors

provides a robust solution for the

monitoring of temperature thresholds. Designed for a temperature range between +60 and +100 °C, TGM 05 sensors open a contact if a pre-set temperature is exceeded. The threshold is set by the manufacturer in 5 °C increments according to customer specifications. Thanks to IP68/IP69K protection on the medium side and a stainless steel housing, the sensors provide excellent media resistance. Additionally, they withstand pressures up to 30 bar. They are installed by means of a G½ thread and are suitable for switching voltages up to 230 V AC.

Latest high-speed DAQ device designed for test bench applications H

BM has launched the Genesis Highspeed GEN3t data acquisition device as portable or control cabinet versions aimed primarily at test bench applications. The GEN3t has been developed to meet the increased demand for small, easily mounted systems for test bench applications such as electric motors, inverters and generators. The device is fitted with three slots for input cards and can gather data across up to 96 channels at a rate of 50 MS/s continuous data

transfer to a suitable control PC. The GEN3t can also be specified to include an integrated Solid State Disk (SSD) that enables data rates of up to 100 MS/s. The GEN3t can also be very easily synchronized with other basic devices in the Genesis Highspeed family to significantly increase the number of available slots ensuring great flexibility in the selection of suitable devices for high-speed data acquisition.

Pressure Sensors on Demand

acquisition systems now integrate seamlessly with DIAdem D

ata acquired using HBM’s range of DAQ products, such as QuantumX, can now also be viewed and manipulated using HBM’s driver for DIAdem software increasing the flexibility of measurement

tasks in the test bench sector. Using the DIAdem driver facilitates integration with alternative software while retaining the flexibility to also use catman®, HBM’s dedicated software. High precision and flexibly deployable measurement data acquisition systems are extremely important for test benches in various function groups especially in the automotive sector this ensures that high quality can be maintained during development of brakes or window raisers, for example. HBM’s modular data acquisition system QuantumX offers measurement accuracy of 0.05% and high flexibility in tests with changing measured quantities. The QuantumX MX840A module, for example, supports twelve different sensor types without needing an adapter. HBM’s MGCplus data acquisition system also supports DIAdem software for laboratory applications with an even higher measurement accuracy of up to 0.0025%.

urck Banner introduces new Pressure sensor PS500. The customer can individually configure the right pressure sensor for the application concerned from three electronic variants. With two switching outputs, a switching and voltage output, or a switching and current output – for twelve different relative pressure ranges up to 600 bar and twelve different process connection threads. This enables the creation of 432 possible variants. In order to offer customers optimum flexibility, Turck Banner has given the devices a modular design, enabling final assembly in the shortest possible time. Each device of the PS500 series can be made ready for shipment in the central warehouse within a maximum of 48 hours from receipt of the order, even if it is not already pre-assembled in the component warehouse. Production, packaging and also shipment to the central warehouse are completed by the next working day.
