Micro Systems Vienna Demonstrates Lab-on-a-Chip Capabilities

In 2012 Microsystems (UK) Limited
established a micro moulding facility close to the gates of Vienna, Austria.
The operation is run by two renowned leaders in micro systems technology: Martin Ganz and Gerald Plöchl.
Micro Systems Vienna (MSV) supports a 160 m² temperature- controlled white room as a production area and each Wittmann Battenfeld MicroPower machine has its own class 6 clean manufacturing environment.
Having been certified to ISO 9001 as well as ISO 13485, Micro Systems Vienna (MSV) concentrates on the production of:
■ micro medical devices ■ micro high-tech parts ■ micro fluidic parts and ■ micro optic parts for the medical and optical industry.
Last year MSV set about designing a complex lab-on-a-chip demonstrator that incorporates Microsystems’ vast know-how in design, ultra-precision micro machining capabilities and expert knowledge in micro moulding technology.
