New from Intertronics is the CircuitWorks Overcoat Pen, a quick way to apply an acrylic conformal coating to circuit board tracks as protection against shorts, moisture, abrasion, fungus and other environmental hazards. This is said to enable quick and easy repairs while meeting the requirements of MIL-I- 46058C and IPC-A-610D. The acrylic coating contains a fluorescent indicator for visual confirmation of coverage. According to the company, this is expected to make coating of PCB’s especially convenient during manufacture, rework and
prototyping, where it enables replacement of permanent solder resist or mask over repaired areas, or where it is damaged or missing.

Now available from INMOCO are the Kollmorgen AKMH stainless steel motors which are designed for quick and easy CIP cleaning (clean-in-place).
