Stuttgart Laser Marketplace with the latest data and trends
”The global market for laser material processing systems reached the new record figure of €8 billion in 2013, i.e. two per cent more than in the previous year. It was also pleasing to see that the demand for laser systems in Europe, which represents around 30 per cent of worldwide demand, increa- sed again in 2013 after it stagnated the previous year due to the European sovereign debt crisis,“ said Dr. Arnold Mayer, the responsible organiser of the Stuttgart Laser Marketplace and a renowned analyst in the laser industry. Anyone wan- ting further details concerning the latest developments on regional and international markets for laser material pro- cessing, e.g. also concerning trends on the Japanese laser market, laser applications in the production of flat displays and applications and developments in laser structuring in the electronics and motor vehicle construction industries cannot afford to miss the Stuttgart Laser Marketplace from 13.00 to 17.30 on 25 June 2014 in Room C6.2 at the ICS. This first-class event will be held concurrently with LASYS for the second time. It is being staged by Optech Consulting in cooperation with Messe Stuttgart and the IFSW. It is subject to a charge (€397.00) and can be booked via SLT registration.
Stuttgart, an ideal trade fair location with high expertise
According to a study conducted by Baden-Württemberg Stiftung GmbH, ”Baden-Württemberg is part of a first-class scientific and economic region“. The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Finance and Economics says that the reason for
the outstanding economic position of Baden-Württemberg is the above-average level of expertise found here. This expertise is reflected in the main industries in Baden-Württemberg, for example mechanical engineering, motor vehicle construction, photonics and medical technology. LASYS is therefore held right in the middle of its user industries, a fact which proves that Stuttgart is an ideal trade fair location. ”Foreign exhibitors and visitors also benefit from the location advantage since valuable contacts can be forged wherever industries with a promising future are domiciled,“ said Thomas Walter. Since the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre is situated right next door to Stuttgart Airport, travel is made extremely easy. Last but not least, Stuttgart is regarded as a gourmet metropolis between forests and vineyards.
First-rate trade fair synergies
Other interesting trade fairs will be held concurrently with LASYS at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre. Using their LASYS admission ticket, visitors will also be able to attend these events: the automotive shows Engine Expo, Vehicle Dynamics Conference, Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo, Automotive Testing Expo and Automotive Interiors Expo. O&S, International Trade Fair for Surface Treatments and Coatings, and parts2clean, Leading International Trade Fair for Industrial Parts and Surface Cleaning, will also run in parallel with LASYS 2014. Trade fair visitors and exhibitors‘ personnel will therefore be able to save time when obtaining information on different technologies at the various trade fairs.
The international trade fair LASYS 2014 will be open daily between 09.00 and 17.00 from 24 to 26 June 2014. A day ticket will cost €25.00, including travel by public transport operated by the Stuttgart Public Transport Authority (VVS).
