Taylor fires right in on the restart, on a low ankle shot, but Burroughs kicks his leg away with 47 seconds to go. Burroughs, who has shown amazing composure in tight matches, shoots straight in on another blast double and drives Taylor to the mat with 29 seconds left. Taylor’s lead is now 6-5. The stage is now set for a fantastic finish between these two great competitors.
The wrestlers go back to their feet with 0:22 remaining and Burroughs attacks right off the whistle, double-legging Taylor again and spinning behind him to secure the takedown with 19 seconds left.

Taylor fires in on a succession of four shots, but Burroughs holds him off, pinching Taylor in a front headlock as time expires with the crowd going wild.
Burroughs raises both hands in the air as he rises to his feet.
Taylor slaps the mat in frustration with his right hand. He then clasps his hands behind his head, with his head lowered while down on his knees. Taylor wrestled a great match. Burroughs then pounds his chest five times with his right fist, shakes hands with Taylor and then flexes as his right arm is raised in victory.
