Kerrville. Austin Odom (Ben- ton, Ark.) was the top junior fi nisher with two fi rst-place fi nishes and top overall qual- ifying scores, and he was the lone junior athlete to earn a spot in all three fi nals. Gar- rett Beissner (Hondo, Texas) earned his spot by virtue of two fi nals performances that saw him fi nish second in each.

Rachael Heiden (Clinton,

Mich.) showcased her World Champs readiness with three of the four top quali- fying scores and two fi rst- place fi nishes in the three fi nals. Ashley Carroll (Solvang, Calif.) showed once again that she’s a force to reckon with in the sport by qualify- ing for all of the Finals. Car- roll fi nished second in two of them while fi nishing fi fth in the other. Janessa Beaman (Colorado

Springs, Colo.) made the biggest leap of the women’s fi eld to earn her spot on

the team coming from sixth place in Tucson to third in Kerrville. She did so with consistent shooting in quali- fying, followed by second- and third-place fi nishes. Caitlin

(Kerrville, Texas) let

Barney-Weinheimer her
