The Base Formula TrainingAcademy are offering a one-day course in the ancient art of Cupping.
Taking place onWednesday 4th June, the course will explore this form of deep tissue massage which involves placing heated glass cups onto specific areas of the body.
Practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine believe that the ‘chi’ becomes imbalanced when a person is stressed, ill or injured. It is thought that cupping opens up the pores, stimulates the flow of blood and draws out blockages in a person’s chi. This allows energy to flow freely, encourages toxins to be drawn from the body, promotes healing and leaves your client feeling relaxed and revitalised.
