with the results that they require. It also provides a service for our clientele who only want to use us for their individual course or CACI treatment.

“The feedback we receive is always positive. Our clients have varied results fromone person to the next but they all love the treatment and get great results. Most go on to target other areas after their initial course has ended.”

It’s important for therapists to believe in the treatments they offer. What do your therapists feel about using the CACI system? “All our therapists love it! Performing the treatments and working with our clients to get the very best results is very gratifying.”

Does the Spa have plans to introduce any further treatments? “We are always looking at the latest treatments and for ways in which to

incorporate themwithin our business. We are currently about to launch a Lifestyle Spa Day to incorporate personal training and gymfor the skin with the new skin regimen from Comfort Zone.”

On a personal note, what have been your best achievements as a therapist? “There aremany things which I could list as achievements which have been personal tome along the way. I think being in an industry that I absolutely love and working in such a beautiful place is the biggest achievement of all.”

And finally, as someone with a wealth of experience, is there any advice you could pass onto therapists and salon owners for being successful? “Take what you love and deliver it to others in the formof a service; then watch themsmile like you do.”

I was eager to try the CACI Ultimate facial following high profile testimonials from the likes of Jennifer Lopez of how it offered a complete non-surgical treatment, redefining facial contours and plumping out lines.

After cleansing my face,Arlene began with a pass of OrbitalMicrodermabrasion for a controlled exfoliation. This worked simultaneously with LED light, in red to generate collagen and blue to calm.

Once the superficial layers of skin were removed,Arlene began theMicrocurrent treatment, which physically manipulated the facial muscles using micro probes to lift, hold and release leading to re-education of the muscle. Glider movements lifted larger areas, followed by quick strokes across the face and then feather strokes.

This was followed by treatment with the Wrinkle Comb, which combines specific wavelengths of light with high frequency stimulation;Arlene explained that this hand- piece would enable her to treat lines and wrinkles directly using red light, and using a blue light, trigger tissue repair and healing on areas of breakouts and scarring.

The Hydratone mask, a conductive silicon gel mask infused with hydrating properties, was then applied, over which active microcurrent rollers gently massaged the face causing the mask to become electrically charged and rejuvenate my entire face. The massage also assisted with lymph drainage,Arlene explained.

In order to apply active serum directly to areas of concern, the CACI Ultimate also features Electro Buds, Hexapeptides serum-filled cotton buds, whichArlene used on my forehead and around my laughter lines.

The treatment was completed with an application of SPF, as my skin was vulnerable afterMicrodermabrasion, and eye and lip products.

The treatment itself felt luxurious and pampering, and not at all over-clinical as I had feared it might.WhenArlene passed me the mirror, I was amazed at the difference just one treatment had made - my cheekbones were visibly raised leading to a tightening of my jawline and a natural radiance exuded my complexion; imagine what a full course of 10 treatments could achieve. In the days following, my skin retained its glow, any breakouts quickly cleared and I felt confident to show off my complexion make-up free.
