John Nightingale President of IHE (from June 2014)


John, who takes over as IHE President from June, is a Director of JCT Consultancy specialising in traffi c signal design, traffi c modelling and training. John heads up JCT’s training team and hosts the Annual Traffi c Signals Symposium.


Wayne Duerden Head of Traffi c Engineering Policy


Wayne leads a team developing policy, regulatory frameworks and technical advice for traffi c management, traffi c signs, signals and street design. He has extensive experience of traffi c management and is keen on streetscape issues.

Graham Edmond Head of Network Maintenance


Graham is responsible for the day to day maintenance of the 3,500km of trunk roads in Scotland. This includes managing the trunk road operating companies and DBFO companies with an annual budget of around £150m.
