NAME GAME: The young Cook Islander in
the fi lm has the most appropriate of names - he is called Travel! ON THE MOVE: To transport the
production crew around Aitutaki they needed 12 scooters, 10 cars, 2 Jeeps, 2 double-cab utes, 2 barges and 3 tender craft.
FEASTING: The production crew got
through 60 Nu (young coconuts) a day during fi lming - more if they could get their hands on them! BUILD IT: It took two days to create the large
Air New Zealand koru on the beach for the video. ALL ABOARD It took four plane loads of
people to get all the production crew on island for the shoot. IN TUNE: Video model Chrissy Teigen is
married to Grammy award- winner John Legend. WEDDED BLISS: Tua from the video had to
temporarily leave the shoot to be the wedding celebrant for a local couple. BRAINY: Model Joyana Meyer in the
video was the fi rst Cook Island woman to gain a degree in Megatronic Engineering.
Zealand partnered with the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine to produce Safety in Paradise selecting Aitutaki as the idyllic backdrop to promote onboard safety.
