Most are simple plastic fl ags that seem to fall out and on the fl oor whenever an attempt is made to remove them. The Saf-T-Round was located on the basement fl oor of the SHOT Show and is the only ejectable fi rearm safety fl ag device. The orange polymer device features
a brass rear and it can actually be loaded in a pistol magazine. It will then feed into a fi rearm’s chamber while the fl ag sticks up and out of the ejection port. The 5.56mm fl ag’s polymer tip is the correct size for punching out an AR-15’s takedown pins. It is also equipped with a steel pin that fl ips up like a folding knife and serves as a bolt takedown tool.
