DISTRICT 5 — OKLAHOMA Cattle Stolen in Southeastern Oklahoma TSCRA Special Ranger John Cummings reports the


theft of cattle from a property in Pittsburg County, Okla. Sometime in November, a thief or thieves cut a lock on a gate and stole 8 head of steers, 750 to 800 pounds each, all black, some with white faces. All have green fl y tags in the right ear and a Rocking TF brand on the left hip.


Trailer and Pipe Stolen Cummings reports the theft of a trailer loaded with pipe


and metal scraps from a property in Mayes County, Okla. On Nov. 17 a thief or thieves stole a 14-foot black 2008


Lone Star tandem axle dump trailer in Locust Grove, Okla., VIN No. 5VYGH14208H001468. The trailer has a bent jack under the tongue and both rear doors are re-welded at the hinge side. At the time of the theft, the trailer was loaded with pipe of assorted diameters and lengths up to approxi- mately 2 feet. It also held some rebar and I-beam scraps.


Calf Shot in Oklahoma Between Dec. 1 and 2, someone shot a 250-pound black

DISTRICT 13 — EAST TEXAS Cattle Found Butchered TSCRA Special Ranger Larry Hand reports the discov-


ery of a butchered cow in northwest Smith County. The carcass of the approximately 7-year-old red and white Her- eford cow was found on Dec. 2 on the side of a road. The cow had been skinned and butchered, with a section of the hide missing where a brand could have been on the left hip. The cow was tattooed S99 in both ears and had the vac- cination tattoo R shield 7. The owner of the cow is being sought in this case.

Cow-calf Pair Missing in East Texas Hand also reports a cow-calf pair went missing some-


time between Dec. 2 and 10 from a property in Wood Coun- ty in northeast Texas. Missing or stolen are a 5-year-old registered, polled Hereford cow and her 2-month-old bull calf. The cow weighed approximately 1300 pounds and has a JA connected brand on the left hip, a “S29A” tattoo in the left ear and “AHR” tattoo in the right ear. DISTRICT 15 — CENTRAL TEXAS Fuel Theft in Hamilton County TSCRA Special Ranger Marvin Wills reports the theft of


fuel in Hamilton County. Sometime between Nov. 15 and 18, a thief or thieves stole 500 gallons of farm diesel and 150 gallons of gasoline from a property near Ireland. If you have any information regarding this theft, please call Wills at 254-865-2571.


DISTRICT 28 — SOUTH TEXAS Guns, Jewelry, Stolen in South Texas TSCRA Special Ranger Robin Clark reports the theft of


numerous guns and assorted jewelry from a property near Cotulla. Sometime between Nov. 5 and 8, a thief or thieves entered the property in LaSalle County and used a grinder to open a gun safe. Stolen were: Browning 270 caliber rifl e, SN 81648MN354;
