James Nesbitt to host the ACR News Awards
ONE OF THE most popular and familiar actors on British television, James Nesbitt, is to host the ACR News Awards 2014.
Cold Feet made Mr Nesbitt a household name, and he has since excelled in everything from Gothic horror to wacky comedy. On the big screen he has starred opposite Ralph Fiennes in Coriolanus, and can currently be seen playing one of the dwarves in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit.
Judging
On 10 December 2013, the judges gathered to discuss the entries for the 2014 Awards. The standard was very high, which made judging particularly difficult, and the judges were “impressed with a lot of the product innovation. It bodes well for the future.” This year’s panel consisted of Keith Sutton, Ewen Rose, Graeme Maidment, Roger Borer, Terry Seward and Barry Lyons.
