BNSF Railway Leases New GE and Old EMD Power

On January 5, train RISI (run- ning from Riker Yard in Punxsutawney, Penn., to Salamanca, N.Y.) had two of them bracketing a BPRR SD40-3 as it passed the Owens-Illinois glass plant in Brockway, Penn. BPRR is using Nos. 8140-8142, 8144, and 8148, all wearing their original Burlington Northern “whiteface” colors.
