Grede Adding Capacity to Facility in Monterrey, Mexico Grede Holdings LLC,
Southfi eld, Mich., an- nounced it is adding capacity to its NovoCast ferrous met- alcasting facility in Monter- rey, Mexico, to help meet the growing demands of its automotive and heavy truck customers in the region. T e plant will be install-
ing a new pressure pouring system, which eff ectively adds 8,000 metric tons per year of capacity, a 12% increase. T e capital equip- ment is expected to be installed by February 2014. “Our commitment to the Mexico market remains strong, as shown by the in- vestment we are making in our NovoCast facility,” said Doug Grimm, chairman, president and CEO, Grede

With estimated annual rev- enues exceeding $1 billion, the company specializes in high quality ductile, gray and specialty iron castings, including lost foam and high silicon molyb- denum applications.
