Sony claims that, thanks to the laser light source, long life LCD panel and advanced fi lter system, the VPL-FHZ55 off ers up to 20,000 hours operation without maintenance or replacement – far higher than traditional projection lamps. Virtually zero maintenance requirements and a range of energy-saving features also claim to reduce total lifetime ownership costs compared with conventional UHP projectors.


At £4,400 this piece of kit doesn’t come cheap, but it is a case of you get what you pay for. If you’re looking to impress with your content then this projector will instantly engage an audience with stunning visuals.
