Now in its ninth year, the EIBTM Corporate Programme was the fi rst of its kind to offer highly targeted education designed specifi cally for meeting planners from corporate organisations. The theme this year will provide an insight into how corporates can change the outcomes of their meetings through implementing more creative meetings designs. This will be a truly inspirational education offering where planners can challenge the traditional meeting.


Meetings are the place where people interact for business reasons. It is the corporate planner’s task to ensure that the organisation’s meetings offer the best possible contribution to its goals. Meetings embody the dynamics in the organization and therefore the corporate planners needs the competencies to make the meeting programme as cutting edge and as engaging as possible. Meeting Design is the art of translating meeting objectives and content into the right programme for just that specifi c group of participants. Useful meetings need well-designed programmes; all meeting participants deserve well-designed programmes; and so: corporate planners need to know about meeting design.


And since meetings are about interaction and dynamics, the fi rst thing we will do to design this session, is to interact with you, the future participants.
