Precision CO2 handheld with logging capability

otronic has introduced a CO2 handheld instrument with full logging functions, thereby extending its core range of leading Swiss manufactured


temperature and humidity products. This follows worldwide customer demand for accurate and dependable CO2 measurement. The robust handheld (product code CP11) provides accurate and repeatable CO2 and additionally relative humidity and temperature measurements. Dew point and wet bulb values are available. Recorded data can be downloaded to a PC using the included software which is fully compatible with Windows7 operating system. The handheld has a large LC display with backlight; a USB data cable and compact case are conveniently included. Since the CO2 handheld was made available demand has exceeded initial forecasts due to its high specification and competitive price. company based in Coventry who are a supplier of pipes and valves and have extensive recycling systems where left with a small percentage of waste to dispose of. They collect the waste using 240 litre wheelie bins which are walked outside to an external Ram Compactor. Up to now the bins have been dragged up a make shift ramp and the operator physically picks up the wheelie bin and shakes out the waste. They knew this was an issue and decided to find the solution. Landfill Alternatives have now installed a moveable 240ltr bin tipper. This sits in front of the compactor charge box, the bins are pushed into the tipper housing, and pressing two buttons the bin contents are emptied into the Ram Compactor. If they wish to dispose of waste using the forklift, then they simply pull the bin tipper out of the


way, as it is on castors, and then the forklift tips. “The Bin tipper is a very simple device, with simple controls, that does a essential job” says Chris
