Ian obtained his LL.B. in 1966. He was called to the bar at Lincoln’s Inn in 1968 and in the cayman Islands in 1971. In
1987 he was awarded J.d. from Washington and Lee University, virginia and is also admitted to practice in Washington d.c., where Paget-Brown has an affiliated office to assist
in
working with our correspondent attorneys. the author of numerous articles and a speaker at conferences, Ian was appointed by
the cayman Islands
Government as chairman of the cayman Islands Law Reform commission in 2011. He is a certified
Financial crime
Specialist 2013 and a certified anti-Money Laundering Specialist caMS 2003
