Through tweets, hashtags and 140 characters; status up-


dates and likes; videos and blogs; the way we follow the Olym- pics has changed forever, and U.S. Figure Skating will provide more insight into the Games than ever before. U.S. Figure Skating, through its online and social media


platforms, will offer a number of new ways to enhance the ex- perience of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.


ONLINE — U.S. Figure Skating will create an Olympic Head- quarters website that will serve as a one-stop shop for informa- tion on the Games. Coming this winter, this new site will feature schedules and information, daily photo galleries, special blogs that will be updated throughout the Games, links and much more.


TWITTER — Experience the Games through 140 characters and U.S. Figure Skating’s Twitter account, @USFigureSkating. Be sure to follow throughout the Olympics for the most up-to- date news, information, photos and interaction. Also stay tuned for special Twitter features such as athlete Q-and-A’s, contests and more.


FACEBOOK — If you’re not looking to see the results before they air in prime time on NBC, like U.S. Figure Skating on Face- book. U.S. Figure Skating’s Facebook page will keep fans updat- ed with news, photos and contests throughout the Olympics, but updates will be delayed to coincide with coverage on NBC.


GOOGLE+ — Want to “hang out” with U.S. Figure Skating? Then give the U.S. Figure Skating Google+ page a +1! Through- out the Games, U.S. Figure Skating’s Google+ page will feature a series of Google hangouts (live video) featuring some of your favorite figure skaters. U.S. Figure Skating’s Google+ page will also be a resource for news, photos and updates.


INTERACT — Interact with the U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team. Have a question for a member of Team USA? Want to send words of inspiration to the athletes? Be sure to follow U.S. Figure Skating or your favorite members of Team USA on Twit- ter and let them know you’re cheering them on back in Amer- ica.
