HONEY NUT GRANOLA BARS

These honey nut wonders are a cinch using Jordan’s granola from the breakfast cereal aisle

INGREDIENTS 300g Super Nutty Granola, 125g Clear honey, 50g Unsalted butter, 25g Light brown sugar, A pinch of salt

PREPARATION: 1. Preheat the oven to 160C and grease and line an 8 inch square tin with parchment paper.

2. Place the granola into a large bowl. In a small saucepan add the honey, butter, sugar and salt and cook over low heat until melted. Pour this mixture over the granola and mix. Press firmly into the tin to help the bars hold together once baked. Place in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden. Cool for half an hour before placing them in the fridge.

3. Melt the chocolate in a bain marie. Dip the bars in the chocolate and set onto a parchment lined baking tray before placing in the fridge to set.

MEATMARKET H H H H H What is it? The latest venture in a group of London burger joints that includes MEATliquor, MEATmarket faces stiff competition from Covent Garden’s many burger bars. But it’ll stand its ground. The fried pickles with blue cheese dip and Dead Hippy burger could stand up in a fight any day.
