Life in HD
Thismonth Irish Beauty chats to Elizabeth Feehan, Director of The Beauty School, to uncover her life’s loves and passions.
I ended up in the beauty industry because…I have a big passion for beauty and learning, so working in the industry ticked all the boxes for me. It’s a sector that is constantly changing so I get to feed this addiction. It was always a natural thing for me to want to make people feel good about themselves and my greatest pleasure is seeing this same passion in the many people I have trained over the years. I can honestly say I love my job so much that it feels like I haven’t worked a single day!
If I wasn’t in the beauty industry I would…Have to work in a field that would help people, so I would say a counsellor.
An average day for me is… Crazy! I go to the gym at 6.30 am, get the kids to school for 9am, then it’s off to work I go which is never the same day twice. At the end of the day its back home to see my beautiful kids and later in the evening unwinding with a foot massage from hubby.
My ideal weekend would be… Escaping away for an unplanned weekend in the caravan with the family. Especially when the Irish weather is being good to us!
My favourite book… I absolutely love The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It’s about finding one’s destiny when you really want something to happen and how the whole universe conspires so that your wish comes true.

My favourite film is… Jean de Florette – a French historical movie and one of the most unforgettable films I have seen. It’s poetic, enduring and heart-breaking!
The most famous person I have met is…The Egyptian actor, Omar Sharif. I met him at an after-show party at The Old Vic Theatre in London.
My favourite part of the world is… Greece. I love the white washed scenery, the history, the romance and the passion of the Greeks.
I could not live without… My family, the great team of people who work for me and of course I could not live without my HD Brows Bombshell palette.
My favourite treatment is… My favourite body treatment would be a Minimi Inch Loss body wrap. I always feel completely relaxed and of course excited to see how many inches I have lost. My favourite face treatment would be a collagen wave facial as I always see an immediate difference in my skin.
When growing up my role model was…Isadora Duncan (an early 20th century American dancer). She was a strong opinionated woman of her time; she stood for what she believed in and broke the rules!
I would like to be remembered as…A true, genuine supportive friend and as the person who saved Ireland’s eyebrows with HD Brows!
