How I got started: When I was 3, my mother signed me up for Basic Skills classes. I fell in love with skating, and at age 4, I started taking private lessons and competing individually. At age 5, I joined a synchronized skating team and continued to

Memorable moment: Winning two gold medals and one bronze at the State Games of America in San Diego

participate in singles competitions. At age 7, I started taking ice dance lessons and I am working on my silver dances.
Memorable moment: It occurred when my preliminary synchronized team medaled at a competition in Lake Placid, N.Y. We were awarded our medal on the Olympic oval.

Hobbies: I have been a Girl Scout for four years. Our troop does a lot of community outreach projects. I also take violin and tennis lessons.
