TAKING C ARE OF EDUC AT ION
Much is expected of school and college IT managers these days. Any ICT solution they install must be robust, reliable,
environmentally friendly and
good value for money. This applies most often to print, which is why KYOCERA Document Solutions is working hard to support a range of educational establishments
with their printing needs. Here are their stories

RELIABLE FUTURE A dependable printing solution is often top of the priority list for busy schools. When Sandhurst School in Berkshire, a secondary with 1,100 pupils and 120 staff, was updating its IT facilities, it quickly realised it also needed to increase the capacity of its printers to meet demand. “It just wasn’t appropriate to have students wandering around looking for an available printer,” says network manager Adam Leach. The school only had one colour printer and it wasn’t cutting it. Like most schools, Sandhurst went out in search of
a robust printing solution with a high yield on toners and as little impact on the environment as possible. So when KYOCERA offered the school a consultation on
chools and colleges are under pressure from all sides – they’re expected to work wonders with restricted budgets, autonomously and without costing the environment. This goes for everything, but especially their printing requirements.
