Lead-free plumbing fittings from Sanha A range of lead-free components is being launched by Sanha, a specialist German manufacturer of pipes and fittings, ahead of changes to the drinking water regulations coming into force in December 2013. The new European Drinking Water Directive sets a limit for the lead content of drinking water of 0.01 mg/l. With this extremely low threshold, the lead content that can leach into water from standard metal alloys is a problem for contractors.
