“The piece was originally a gift for a close friend. It is made entirely out of gum wrapper foil. The foil reflects light, which represents the light that is hidden inside of everyone. Despite the dark background, her face will shine in the right light. There is darkness and light in us all, we have to change the way we look at someone to see their light.”
