The high intensity 16-character, four-line backlighted display for easy identifi cation can be used in all lighting conditions and has various options for font size. Users can also reduce tape waste as there are multiple options for margin length. The Green Machine also has an auto shut off after fi ve minutes which helps to save energy. Additionally the machine and cartridges contain recycled plastic and are compliant with RoHS / WEEE standards meaning no hazardous materials are used.
KONE’s latest addition is an eco-effi cient escalator package designed for high-end retail environments. It includes KONE’s Direct Drive described as the “industry’s most effi cient escalator drive” as well as a new direct handrail drive system. The Direct Drive consumes up to 20% less electricity compared to a conventional worm gear drive and its motor is connected to the main shaft which increases the escalator’s effi ciency and means lower input power is needed. The TravelMaster 110 Eco also features LED lighting options and multiple operational modes such as eco-effi cient ones which saves energy by slowing down or stopping the escalator when it is empty.
